Orbital catalogs refresh on demand with a shared two-hour minimum cache interval. Their element epochs are shown in Orbit; modeled motion is computed locally between downloads. Event collection is periodic. The beta uses a daily scheduled collection run, with manual refresh available to the private workspace operator. Source cooldowns, outages and staged batches can delay updates. Publication and retrieval times remain distinct.
Reported points, approximate geographic context and advisory areas represent different kinds of location evidence. Reports without a mapped location remain in the index rather than receiving an invented coordinate.
Repeated coverage may trace back to the same source. Candidate situations explain their grouping rules; neither proximity nor publisher count establishes a shared cause.
Coverage is incomplete. Premium satellite imagery, licensed AIS streams and automated X account monitoring are not active feeds. Original source terms continue to apply to public material.
